retaining grammatical changes

I'm writing a book, and don't want to keep seeing grammatical correction
suggestions on the writing I've already checked and saved. Is there a way to
turn off these suggestions for saved portions of my document? This was
something I could do in Word previously, prior to Office 07. Anyone have
suggestions/questions to help?
 
Select the text that you don't want Word 2007 to proof. Click on Review
| Set Language | check the "Do not check spelling or grammar" box | OK.
