Retaining Footers on printed WebPages

I publish documents from Word as Web Pages, but my footer is not displayed on
the pages. This is not so critical for screen display since browsers reformat
the pages and the concept of a page footer is lost anyway when displayed on a
screen.

What is important to me is that when my users print from the site, the
footer reappears on each printed page.

Does anyone know how to do this? BTW, I am not a programmer, but can dabble
a-bit with code if there is some approximate solution out there.

I think that's because the header/footers are on a different layer in Word.

Why not provide .pdf's of the original file...just output the word doc to a
pdf (you need Acrobat or one of the free pdf programs) save the pdf, import
it into FP then just put a link next your your word doc linking to the
pdf...that may be the simplest. Almost everyone has Acrobat Reader these
days.

Thanks for your reply. My documents are extensively hyperlinked. Adding links
in Acrobat is somewhat cumbersome, so I was trying to avoid that option.

Any other ideas?

It's an option in the printer settings.
You can tell it whether or not to print headers and footers.
