retain aspect ratio on jpegs when going full screen

i am creating a ppt presentation that will loop on a 42" wide plasma screen.
the presentation contains many jpegs. it works fine until i present it full
screen, which distorts the images. the images have "retain aspect ratio"
selected, but this makes no difference. any ideas? btw, the boss does want
the presentation full screen (he bought the wide-screen), so making it a
normal shape is not an option... thanks in advance

Kim,

You'll have to set the page size in powerpoint to a 16 x 9 ratio...otherwise things will distort...circles will not be
round etc
