Resume doesn't look right uploaded to career site

It looks fined in MS Word but once it's uploaded to careerbuilder or
yahoo hotjobs it looks out of format. Can anyone give me a general idea
on formatting? I tried following tips on careerbuilder but just couldn't
get it right.

Mostly indented problems and some spaces that don't exist in MS word
shows up on careerbuilder.

Word document format and HTML (or plain text) formats have different
formatting requirements. You *may* be able to correct the HTML layout in Web
view but the plain text that many web sites require will have to be
reformatted in (say) Notepad to give the appearance you need.
