I want to have my resume/cv available in 4 formats (is that redundant?) :
text, html, pdf and word. Except for the text version, they should have my
photo on it. Is there a relatively painless way of creating them all from a
single source? If not, I will write text and html manually, use LaTeX for
pdf and some WYSIWYG editor for MS Word, but it seems like a hassle.

Personally I would avoid distributing versions that don't allow you to be
sure it looks professional when printed (eg avoid plain text and HTML).

Watters raises a good point about having control over the way your document
will print out. I remember finding that our the hard way, when I saw the
hideous printed version of my resume that my interviewer had at hand during
a job interview. As for .pdf, I believe you would have to be using Adobe
Acrobat (not the Reader) to compose the document, and Acrobat is not cheap.
That leaves Word.
