results from expression in a form does not show in the table

I typed a calculated expression in the Control Source text box, the results
show up on the form but nothing appears in the tables column.

This same question is asked all the time. Please refer to the post from
today in the microsoft.public.access.forms newsgroup with the topic "Form
not updating table???".

In the future, you may want to search for an answer before posting a
question. You can often find tons of detailed responses.

Normally you should not be storing calculated data in a table. Access
prefers to recalculate it. As for your specific question, it depends on
how is may be set up. Since I have not played with that idea, I will leave
that for someone who has.
