Restriction in effect

When I try to open an - http://www etc - file in Outlook I get the
following message - 'This operation has been cancelled due to
restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system
addministrator.'
It has only just started happening and it is driving me mad. I have
'repaired' Outlook but that had no effct at all.
Please would one of you experts help me.... Thanks!!!

Reset your Web settings in Control Panel-> Internet Options-> tab Programs
and try again.

Hi,
Done that, and also made IE my default browser and now everything is
back to normal. Thank you very much for the speedy reply....
