Hi,

I have a WinXP Pro system with single NIC which has multiple IPs. More than
one user will be using the machine(IE) to connect to internet. Is there any
way to restrict the IE automatically so that, the loggedin user can access
the internet only through a partiular IP?

For ex: If userA is loggedin, he can access the internet only through IP
address#1
If userB is loggedin, he can access the internet only through IP address#2
If userC is loggedin, he can access the internet only through IP address#3

Could ypu please let me know the solution?

Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Sasidhar

There's no way to prevent a particular user from using an IP address
that's assigned to a NIC. There's no association between IP addresses
and user accounts.

It might be possible to create login scripts for each user that only
assign the desired IP addresses.
