Restricting Floppy & CD Rom Access

Looking for a way to lock Floppy and CD Rom access to all
users except Administrators and Power Users: Is there a
way to create a Custom local policy or Registry key that
would provide this type of security? Thanks in advance
for your help.
 
There is a tool that comes with the Windows 2000 Resource Kit (and possibly
with the XP Resource Kit) called floplock that allows you to create a
service that will lock access to the floppy drive. However this will not
lock the CD drive, you might be able to alter the local security properties
to restric access to the CD drive.
