Restricted users can't update antivirus ( XP Pro SP1 )

Dodol

We're using WinXP SP1 for all of our usersin our office.
For security reason and ease of management and
maintenance, we made all of our users' account as
restricted users.
For internet connection we've got a proxy server, and set
to allow some of URL's to be able to connect without any
authentication. One of the 'free' URL is for updating the
antivirus. ( We're using Trend Micro )
The problem is that the antivirus can't update itself if
the user account thet currently log into the computer is
a restricted account. It requiers an administrative
account or at least power user account which for some
reasons, we can't give this such account type to our
users.
Is there any way to force antivirus program updating
under restricted account ???

---thank you-----

Dodol,

Trendmicro stores its antiviral patterns under the %Program Files%
directory. Limited users (rightfully) are restricted from modifying the
contents of this directory. Using explorer navigate to the directory in
which Trendmicro is installed and edit the DACL for Users to give them
modify access.

Regards,

George.
