Hi there, i have a family run PC, where i am set as the administrator. I do
ahve other users who use the PC and some of these whom are youngsters. I feel
i need to restrict certain access to certain sites ONLY for particular users?
Is this possible without affecting other uses with full access? Also is there
a way i can monitor one of my sons usage, to see what sites he has been on or
used? I would be very greatful for all help provided. Much appreciated

you can set up seperate rules for internet explorer IF each person logs on
under their own user name.
The easiest way to monitor where someone has been is to check the history of
internet explorer.

How can i set rules up?
Some of the users are clever and delete the history etc.
Is there anyway possible to monitor and also restrict certain sites for
certain userS?

You must have given him an admin account? Change it to limited. Also,
Start; Run controlpasswords2 will give you a cpl to make mods to his
capabilities.

You'll probably want to consider using a third-party tool, like Net Nanny.
You also may want to contact your ISP as many now offer some form of
Parental Controls.

For some requirements, you may find it easier to invest in a 3rd-party
solution, such as NetNanny or CyberPatrol.

You need to be aware, however, that *NO* technical or software solution
is fool-proof, and _none_ can ever adequately take the place of live adult
supervision. If you cannot trust your children to safely/properly use the
computer without supervision, you may have to consider limiting their access
to it.
