Restoring links with address bar

My address bar is now going all of the way to the right to the word go. The
toolbar is unlocked. I can use the down arrow to access my links but would
prefer to make the address bar smaller so that the links are once more
sharing the same line as the address bar. I can't seem to catch the right
spot to drag the right side of the address bar to the left. What 's the
trick?

You don't drag the right side to the left. You drag the left side to
the right using the "handle" to the left of the word "Address".
