restoring files

hi,
I used the file transfer wizard in win xp to copy a
backup of my files on the c:/ drive to the d:/ drive, I
reformatted the c: drive and reloaded windows xp, how do
I retrieve the files from the d: drive? the backup file
on the d: drive is..USMT2.UNC cant figure out how to open
this file to restore files back to the c:drive, can
anyone help??

Hi Paul,
Did you run the transfer wizard and check the box that says 'This is my new
computer...'? then check 'Don't make a wizard disk..' and then 'Browse' to
the D: drive.
