Restoring Explorer Favorites

When I downloaded and Installed Internet Explorer 7 it failed to pick up my
favorites list from IE 6. I find a copy of the favorites on my hard drive
under Documents and Settings however I have been unable to Import it using
the Import function in IE7. Any ideas on how to do this?

Just copying the contents of the old Favorites folder to the new
folder may be the simplest.
You cannot use Import unless you used Export beforehand.

Please try the IE7 group for more detail.
The recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In a proper newsreader:
