I have inadvertently deleted the short-cut for Microsoft Picture Editor
(usually found in Microsoft Office Tools, via the start menu). Any
suggestions to restore it, at least to the desktop?

Click Start > Find > "Search files and folders" (click on it), type in
PhotoEditor > click the link or executable for the PhotoEditor, right click
it and choose send to > desktop.

Hi,

Alternatively, go to Control Panel --> add/remove programs.
Find Office in the list, click on it, then click the change/remove
button.

The setup program will run and one of the options should be
to do a repair install. This will reinstall any missing files / shortcuts
etc..

Bye,
Pete
