restoring deleted info

If I have a file that was created in 97-03 Word that had some sections
deleted from it. Can those be recovered if I don't have the original? It was
created on another machine. I am using word 07.

It's a bit like asking "I have a book that someone has torn the pages out of
and burned. Can I recover those pages?"
You can only recover the sections if you have a copy of the document from
before the sections were deleted.
