Restoring a windows 98 backup in windows XP

Hi, I backed up some data in Windows 98 before
migrating to XP, but it seems the backup program
in XP cannot read the data files from the backup
program in 98!?!? Please help.

If you are referring to data backed up with MSBackup, you will need to
restore your backed up data on a computer running Win 98 or 95 (don't know
about ME). MSBackup files are not compatible with the XP version of
Microsoft's backup utility. Once you have restored your data, you can then
transfer it to your XP computer.
