Restoring a text document

I need to restore a ritch text document before everything was deleted off
it..I tryed quick restore but that dosn't work for documents. Is there any
way to restore the info that was on it?

Hi,

Usually not. Once overwritten (save changes), the original is usually gone.
You might look in the folder where it is contained for a similar file that
begins with ~$, as that is a temp file that is created when you are working
with the document that may contain some of the original data.
