Restoring a document after a name change

I had an August version of a report and wanted to use the same format to set
up my Sept version. Without thinking, I changed the name of the document to
Sept rather than saving a copy. I then proceeded to delete the information
and hit save before I realized what I had done.

Is there any way to recover the information I had saved when I was working
with the file as Aug?
