I mistakenly deleted my win32 file when I had a win32 trojan virus about 6
months ago. It's not retrievable any more as far as I can tell. Can I replace
it or do I have to reinstall my windows xp? Can I copy and paste the same
file from another computer if the software is the same? I have a 2005 Compaq
Presario V2000 Read and my friend has the same thing, same year, but can
write CDs

No problem. Windows is Windows. Go ahead and copy from your friends computer. But if you have a
Windows CD then it's better for you to run the System File Checker by opening the Run box and
entering:
sfc /scannow

ju.c
