You posted this question yesterday and I gave you the answer. Your
computer has been infested with malware and you need to clean it up.

See these links for steps to do that or else take the machine to a
professional computer repair shop (not your local version of
BigStoreUSA).

Did you see the responses to your previous post about this, in particular
Malke's response? You need to do a thorough scan for malware. She gave you
some good links for it.

If you are having trouble finding your previous post, it's because you're
using the web interface to access what is really a newsgroup. To find your
post search for it using Google Groups Advanced search in the newsgroup
microsoft.public.windowsxp.general and search for your name.

For a better experience accessing this and other MS newsgroups use a
newsreader. XP comes with one, Outlook Express. Here is a link to an
article with info on setting up OE for newsgroups.

Sorry to seem so dumb. I didn't post this question yesterday. I haven't
been to the newsgroup for some time. I have Spy Sweeper, Norton and Winows
Beta 2 Windows Defender with a firewall. They all scan clean. Is there some
malware that has found a way to get by all of these? I have automatic
updates on all of them and I frequently check for updates. Right now I am
out of town and on my laptop so, as soon as I get home I will try the links,

Sorry, then. I must have confused you with another poster with a problem
with casino malware. You will need to go through the procedures in my
link when you get home. Then if you need more help, we'll need to know
exactly what the casino software is and where the files are.
