Restore Tools Menu

I made the mistake of altering the built-in Tools menu, and can't seem to get
it back to it's default. I've tried holding the shift key, it doesn't show
the complete list. I need the Database Utilities to repair and compact and to
make MDE files. I can create a customized toolbar for users, but need to get
the full Tools menu back for my use. The database is secured and has been
working very well until I made this mistake!
Please help. Thanks, Mary

Have you tried changing the startup options, eg "Allow full menus"?

Yes, it's checked.

Right-click on any menu or toolbar and choose "Customize". In the resulting
dialog will be listed all the built in command bars. On any one of them you can
select it and then press "Restore" which will set it back to the way to was when
Access was installed. You can also use the checkbox next to each one to display
it in the current context.

I got it. I got to the Customize toolbars dialog box, clicked the toolbar in
question, then properties, and then Restore Defaults. That took care of it.
