Restore Required - But before I do

Evening all. I have a really old build of XP Home Edition, pre SP1. I have
streamlined in SP1. that works fine. Due to bad ram I need to restore the
system and was wondering if I could backup or streamline my windows updates.

Any help appreciated

The answer is yes, but that would not be easy to do.
What I do is copy all the updates I download from windows update before I
let the machine reboot into a anotheir folder and then if ever need
reinstall that patchs I copy them back into the directory they came from

its a bit of a bummer its not as easy as SP1
