Restore my desktop

I mistakenly moved my desktop to my external hard drive while backing
up. Now it keeps looking for the icons on the K: even though i "undid
the move" how do I tell the computer to look at the desktop folder on
the C:?

Download/Install Tweak UI from Microsoft:
<http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx>

Fire it up, then under:
My Computer->Special Folders->
Select the folder "Desktop" then click the "Change Location" button.
