restore function

can anyone help i don't seem to be able to do a system restore its goes
through the motions but when the pc reboots it says no changes have been
made. ive checked to see the " turn off system restore box" is unchecked in
the control panel... system properties.

any ideas guys?

That means system restore didnt do its job. Try another restore point. System
restore doesnt work all the time.

Sometimes system restore gets messed up. When that happens all you can
do is turn it off, check that turn off system restore check box, reboot
and turn it back on. You will loose all previous restore points but
that usually fixes it, for awhile.
