Restore f11 key on startup

When I did a sys. recovery with my gateway discs it removed the "F11" on
startup. Gateway tells me it was removed from my hard drive. Can anyone tell
me how to recover this?

It was on a separate restore partition on your hard disk. Usually the
restore disks from the manufacturer gives you the option of reinstalling
the restore partition, this should be an option on your Gateway restore
disk set. If it isn't available on your restore disks then you will
have to ask Gateway for more help.
