Restore "deleted sheet" in workbook

How can I undelete a deleted sheet (from the edit button)
in a workbook?

Z.B.,

You should be able to Edit/Undo.
If you haven't saved the workbook since the delete,
just close and reopen.
If you've already saved the workbook though, it's gone for good.

A deleted sheet cannot be "undone" with Edit>Undo.

Closing before saving is the only way out unless there is a backup hanging
around.

FWIW, Lotus 123 (at least since Release 5), Quattro Pro (at least since version
5), and OpenOffice Calc 1.1 can all undo sheet deletion. Does anyone seriously
believe Microsoft's programmers are incapable of adding this? Does anyone
seriously believe it wouldn't have been added to Excel already if Office had 40%
or less market share?

It's nice & comfy being an effective monopoly.
