Restore/Can't add remove certain programs now

I had to do a system restore...now I cannot remove certain
programs off of my list...they are empty files showing
taking up no room but it will not let me remove them off
of the list...any ideas or fixes for that. Thanks

Can you right-click on them and then choose "Delete" by left-clicking?
Are you talking about entries on the start menu?
