Restoration of Encrypted Files

I backed up my encrypted files and formatted the HDD. Now when restoring
those files it doesn't restore the encrypted files. Is there any way in the
world to get those files back

Did you follow best practices when it comes to EFS?
Did you backup your encryption key?
