Hi All,

I have a little problem with my home network,

I run three Xp computers on a wired LAN also have a wireless connection for
a laptop.

I have just installed a Netgear MP101.

All works fine for about 24 hours then I have to reset the router and all
works again.

I reckon it's something to do with ip addresses etc.

Anyone know how I can get around this little problem?

Thanks in anticipation.

Bob,

What problem causes you to have to "reset the router"? Presumably, loss of
internet service, but with what precise symptoms?

Does the problem affect all three computers simultaneously? The next time this
happens, please:
From a command window:
1) Ping www.yahoo.com.
2) Ping 66.94.230.33.
3) Ping the router.
Report success / exact text of error messages.

From your browser:
3) Browse www.yahoo.com.
4) Browse 66.94.230.33.
5) Login to the router.
Report success / exact text of error messages.

Cheers,
Chuck
