Restart Problem

helo!
My computer is facing some problems. When i click on
restart or Shutdown tab, my computer shuts Norton Anti
virus but not my comp. And on the next attempt of
shutting it down it does shut down, but why it dosent
shut down in the 1st attempt.
What could b the problem?
Can some please help me?

Try force your computer to shutdown with the shutdown.exe command.

Enter CMD or Run and type
shutdown -f -s -t 00

-t = seconds before shutdown (like a timer. If not entered - default is 30
secs)
-f = force
-s = shutdown
-r = restart
-a = abort

If the above shown command works you could create a shortcut on your desktop
