Restart computer

When I want to shut down computer, here is
what happens.

Start/Shutdown/shutdown.

Computer 'restarts'...

Any solutions to this problem?

Also, as I recall, if you are doing this shutdown from within a Terminal
Server session, it will always do a 'Restart' instead of a shutdown.
I believe this was to keep people from shutting off a server by mistake when
they might not have physical access to turn it back on.
