response to blocked sender

if i set someone up as blocked, do they get an automated response saying that
the email was rejected? How will they know that the email was blocked?

They should get a NDR (Non Deliverable Receipt) explaining the reason for
failure, usually this is a numeric string that easily searched via google
(or post it here). Blocked emails should generate a NDR in quick order.

Does it say 'rejected' or 'blocked sender", etc. Thanks.

I find that is usually rejected and they may or may not give a reason

How will they know that the email was blocked?

They won't. Why should they?
