Resource Hacker and XP

I was able to use the Resource Hacker utility to change the
icon and text on the Start button, but I would like also to
change the Start button font and font color. In what file are
they specified?

Similarly, I would like to modify the text on the Systray clock.
In which file do the clock parameters reside?

Is there a good website that lists such Resource Hacker
tweaks?

Thanks!

Personally - I would recommend TClock.

I used to use TClock2, but it messes up my computer: if the
computer is idle and goes into screen saver, after I get back
on, the desktop graphics are all screwy, and applications
do not open properly until I reboot. When I disenabled
Tclock, no more problems. Pity - I really liked Tclock :(

Hi,

You can edit start and clock fonts/colours from within the resource hacker,
just look for the text entry and use the search function to find the
relevant strings.

If your hacker doesn't support this try ResEdit

Have you tried TClock, not TClock2? I don't have such a problem
with TClock here.

In the .msstyles file (a .dll by a different name)

under Textfiles in, for example NORMALBLUE_INI,

in the section: [Start::Button]
