Resolving names

Hi,

In the "Run" bar when I try and map servers by name it
does not recognise it, but it is fine when I try ip
addresses.

I can ping servers by name ok, so it is resolving names.

sounds like you dont have netbios resolution working.

do you have a wins server? is your comp configured to use it?
