Resizing Popup/Modal forms

I created a data netry popup/modal form but I am having dfficulty making it
the exact size I want.

I have opened it in form view, resized it the way I want it, then show it in
design view and then changed the border style to Thin; then saved it. The
problem is when I open it again, it increases the width and height by a bit.
I set dividing lines to Yes to see why the height was increasing and it
seems to be showing another section at the end. For this form, it is a Single
form and all the controls are placed in the Details section (only section of
the form).

Can somebody help me and tell me how I can resize a popup/modal form to the
exact size I want.

Hi Pele,

Someone else out there may have a better way than I have found but I usually
open the form in Design mode, click the Restore Window button (the one in the
Windows right hand corner), and then shape the window roughly a bit smaller
than the actual Form itself. Then I save it and it stays the way that I want.

Hello Pele,

I recently had the same situation. I find that by going into design view
and changing the modal and pop-up values to "no" and saving it as such, then
perform the resize, etc. and save that as well, and finally restoring the
modal and pop-up values to "yes" and saving that.

It has worked multiple times for me.

You got some good suggestions to try.

I should probably ask the obvious:

Make sure the Auto Resize is set to no.
