Resizing Drop Down Lists

I have a column that is only 6, but when I select the
Validation List drop down, the list appears to be about
25. I would like the list to be the exact same size as my
column that it is in.

I have searched on Formatting Drop Downs, Formatting
Validation Lists, Validation List Width, Drop Down Width,
etc. I've come up with some great tips for other items,
but nothing for this. I'll continue searching in the
meantime, but if someone knows, please let me know.
