resizing buttons

I have a workbook with 2 buttons that contain macros.
Running another macro writes data to the sheet with the 2
buttons. At the end, it formats the data in various
columns; which changes the size of one of the buttons.
I'm looking for some help to resize the buttons at the end
of this macro to what it was before the columns (with
data) was resized.

Instead of resizing after, how about just telling excel not to change its size
before?

If you rightclick on the button, you can select Format Control.

Then on the properties tab, there's an option (or two) to not resize with cells.
