Resizing a minimized window??

Larry

I fat fingered the touch pad on a program when changing
the window from full screen to the smaller view, and now
when I select the "restore down" center button to make
the open window smaller on this program, the window
disappears. I can only see the open file if the window
is maximized. All other programs are fine and
unaffected, but this one can now only be viewed in full
screen mode.

Is there a way to find the smaller window, and then
resize it?

Try this...

1-Restore the window, it will "apparently" dissapear...
2-In the taskbar, do right clic to the application button.
3-Choose "move", try pressing, one at time, few times every arrow key, and
the window will appear...
4-Now, you can move and rezize it with your touchpad.

Open that window to maximum size so that you see it, then open another
program window over the top of it (anything, even Windows Explorer or IE or
this message would even work). Then right click on an empty section of your
task bar (where the start button is) and select Cascade Windows. Make sure
you right click on an empty space in the task bar though or it won't give
you the Cascade option.

What's happened is the location parameters for that window when it's not
full screen is set to a location that isn't within your viewable desktop.
It's highly annoying and happens way too often when dealing with over 500
users. It's not the users fault though, it's either windows or the program
itself.

were a direct result of my fingers and brain not being synchronized or my

Paul, thanks - I've never run across this before, but
things happen to us all if we keep 'putering for a while.

Sizer is a convenient program for resizing program screens. It might just
help you out.
