Resize of forms

Everytime I open my form, it fills up the whole screen.

How do I make it to appear small???

in the form's Load event procedure, try

DoCmd.Restore

or

DoCmd.Minimize

choose the action that gives you the result you're after.

My form is not opened through a procedure. It is open through clicking of the
icon in the form table. So where am I going to insert the command??

each time a form opens, its' Load event occurs, regardless of how you open
the form. create a procedure on your form's Load event, and then follow my
previous suggestion. for detailed instructions on creating a VBA event
