Resize a Window

On several occasions with MS XP Home Edition and IE (and with other
applications) I get a screen that is too small to show all of the content.
With no scroll bar on the rigor there is no way to get to the bottom to see
if there is a scroll bar there to move to the left. If there is no resize
icon ( The two windows one atop the other) what can be done? Many KB papers
address how to maximize a window but I have nor found one that is specific
to making the content fit inside the window.

Got a link to an example of a web page that does that? Sometimes it's
just a poorly designed web page. I have a 19" flat screen monitor so no
window is ever full screen and all I can do is make the window a little
wider.

What text size are you using? What do you see when you select "View | Text
Size" in the IE menu?

Are you using anything else to increase the size of text and/or other
content?

What is the screen resolution?

Note that web site designers can disable resize on some browser pop-ups.
Programmers can do the same with application Windows. As long as the
designer hasn't intentionally disabled resizing the following should
work , even if the window edge is beyond the edge of the screen.

In some cases you can drag the upper or left edge of a Window to reduce
its size then drag the title bar back up until the hidden scroll bar is
on screen.

Try resizing with the keyboard:

Hold ALT key while typing a space.

Note that "S" is underlined in "Size". Type S.

Use keyboard arrows to select the edge you want to adjust (down arrow
for bottom, right arrow for right edge)

Use arrow keys to resize window (up/down for height right/left for width).

Exit resize procedure with the ENTER key

There are similar procedures for moving a window.
