Resetting security

I recently adjusted certain security settings using the User Security Wizard,
and I need to change the settings, but now it won't let me, since I was the
user who changed them previously. also, the "user" the program is referring
to is the default Admin user in the Admins group. So, how do I a) create and
enable another user to b) adjust the security settings again. That, or is
there a way to reset the security the default settings? Thanks for your help.
I need it!

In order to make changes, you'll have to log in as a member of the Admins group (or another group that has been granted
sufficient permissions to make these changes). You can't add another member unless your current login has the necessary
permissions.

If the Admin user is still in the Admins group, then you can just login with as the Admin user and make the changes.

Thanks, scott. But how do I actually log in? As it stands now, I just
double-click the file and it defaults to the Admin user. Do you know how I
can switch users?

If you can login as the Admin user, and the Admin user is still part of the Admins group you should be able to make any
changes needed.

In order to use a specific workgroup to login, you would be best to setup a desktop shortcut with this as the Target:

"Full path to msaccess.exe" "full path to db" /wrkgrp "full path to workgroup file"
