I did quite a bit of searching and see many topics on this, but I am still
confused and cannot get this to work. Particularly with the link everyone
provides: http://www.mvps.org/access/reports/rpt0013.htm
I am not sure how to do a few things...
1) "the line Me!Salesperson should be changed to the control name of the
group you wish to track pages for." Is this the name of the field that I am
grouping? Do I type in table.[field]... or me![field] or is this something
completely different. This was not specific (at least for an intermediate
user) and I am lost.
2) "Me!ctlGrpPages is the name of a control you should place in the page
footer. You can also change this line to whatever form you wish your page
numbers to take." Huh? Am I supposed to put the Page number expression here
(=[Page] & " of " & [Pages]) here and name it "Me!ctlGrpPages"? This was not
specific and I am lost.
3) I was able to get the numbers to reset at the start of each new group...
but I am still getting page 1 of 854, 2 of 854, 1 of 854, etc... I want 1
of 2, 2 of 2, etc.
