Resetting Network Settings

can anyone explain how to reset my network settings? My
IP provider says I have a valid I.P. address and all I
need to do is reset my network settings??

Hi - Glad to help, but unfortunately you haven't provided enough
information. Post back with how you are getting to the Internet
(dial-up, cable, dsl), which ISP you are using, if the machine is on a
home or work network. The place to look for network settings is in the
Network Connections applet in Control Panel, but you may want a bit
more guidance. If you do, then please repost.
