Reset my comp now sound doesnt work...

^^^ yeah well i used to download music and stuff but stopped now because i dont feel like going to jail :) and got sick of the spyware being downloaded on my computer. So i put in the disk to reset my computer to how i bought it and now my sound doesnt work...ive updated to all the latest drivers but am thinking, because i bought it with a better speaker system on it from the dealer frys...which isnt some overnight buisness. Did they install something vital on the computer that had to do with the speakers...can anyone help please?
 
yeah now i just tried some other speakers and some headphones...they didnt work either
