Reserve legacy IRQ

Hi All,

we have an IPC with Kontron ETX P3T.
On the board there is a CAN-Card with IRQ 10. I try to
reserve IRQ 10 in BIOS settings, but XPe assigns this IRQ
to a USB Host Controller.
How can I tell XPe (or FBA) to use the BIOS settings for
reserved IRQs?

Other question:

There are two additional COM-Ports on the board sharing
IRQ 5. How can I assign these IRQs in TD?

Lewis,

You should be able to do this first from XP Pro. If you can do that from
there then let us know how so that we can figure out together the registry
keys that set these values.

I found that! I think I get the COM-Port issue solved with
devcon and msport.inf.

But the problem with the reserved IRQ in BIOS and XPe
assigning it still consists...

Is there a way to tell XPe/FBA not to use an IRQ?

There are some entries in msports.inf that may allow you to gently persuade
it to assign a differerent IRQ during FBA.
