I was forced to reinstall XP Pro on my computer this morning. I added a new
hard drive, and I am still able to access all the files from the hard drive
that was previously handling my OS. I really need to find a way to rescue
all the Outlook emails and settings from the old hard drive. Does anyone
know how this can be done. It does not appear I can do an import from a
seperate hard drive.

I am using Office XP Professional on a XP Pro OS.

Rescue your pst-file from the old harddrive and link it again in Outlook. To
restore see;

I get an message saying I do not have permission to do this. I am the only
user on this computer and have administrative rights.

You may need to take ownership of the old files.
