Hi

The XP CD is bootable, but you may have to change the boot sequence via the
BIOS. The manual for your motherboard should show you how to do this.

XP doesn't have a rescue disk function. It's a different OS. The
installation CD is bootable. Everything is done from there, but it has
a different interface.
