rescaling one axis in a surface plot

Hi,

Is it possible to rescale one of the axes on a surface plot? Sometimes
the automatic scale that Excel chooses is a bit silly and I end up with
a very thin surface.

Hi,

The x and y axis scales on a surface chart are categorical. So are
dependent on the number of rows and columns in your data set.

You can adjust the values that appear in the legend (z axis) by double
clicking the legend and using the Scale Tab settings.

Great thanks for the explanation. So I guess if the x or y data is
numerical rather than categorical in nature then it would be best to
scale it in excel prior to plotting?
