I purchased a computer with all programmes already loaded,
but when I attempt to do my Microsoft updates, I keep
being asked for the original discs. The shop (TIME
COMPUTERS) did not supply them, and since the sale (4/5
months) has washed their hands of the whole affair,
showing no after sales interest whatsoever. How can I
finalise my upgrades if I cannot get hold of the original
discs, which I actually DID assume, came with the computer.
Help!
Thanks
Rowena

They could be on another partition/directory of your hard drive.

What you say is incorrect
WindowsXP updates do not ask for the original disk to complete
Office XP does, but Time do not supply any version of Office XP
preinstalled
Sounds to me like you have a bootleg installation of Office. Stop
moaning. You dont get what you never paid for

I know this will be hard, but go back to Time and insiste they give you
the CD's.

I'm sorry you purchased from Time. There are so many better vendors
selling better products in the UK.
